High School Classes: Introduction to Technology and Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing: Woods, Manufacturing: Metals, Consumer Auto, Independent Study, Drafting/CAD

 

Middle School: Seventh grade and Eighth grade are taught in 12 week quarters. Seventh grade is taught basics in drafting, design and transportation. Eighth grade class now does units on small engines, rocketry and aerospace, electronics and soldering, plastics, construction and career exploration.

 

 

Career Website: www.maba.org  has links to apprenticeships and scholarships for construction careers and other areas related to construction. Feel free to email me if you have any questions about the website or getting information on MATC visits or contacts.

 

WATDA: www.watda.org is the website for career exploration in the automotive industry. Every year they WATDA gives away scholarships to students interested in becoming a mechanic or auto body specialist or diesel mechanic.

 

 

Construction Career Fair: Madison Area Builders Association is holding a construction career fair in April. Please have your son or daughter come me to ask about the field trip.

 

Toyota Tapestry grant needs: Looking for someone to donate an old rototiller that doesn’t run. We need it for the diesel engine we bought to create a recycling system. Please contact me if you are interested in donating.
